Flashcards 1.5 walkthrough

This is a walkthrough created to use for discussions with testers and graphic designers. Click in the picture to view it in the original size. The app starts without any deck, a list of samples is not available for version 1.5. The info text has been updated for build 16.
Use Menu | New deck to create a new deck. (We need a new icon which conforms the Android UI guidelines.
You can change the icon, there is a bug in the new deck view where it doesn't accept pictures (Fixed for build 16). Change it from the deck view, Menu | Edit deck.
Deck list with one deck.
Additional deck with default icon.
Deck view of deck without any cards.
Empty card list. Here the, the message should be new cards and tags. The message has been updated for build 16.
Insert new card.
The Save card will bring you back to the card and tag list. At the moment it's closed. Maybe the tag should be opened by default (done for build 16).
Like this.
Insert a second card.
Use the back button to go the deck view. The two cards are shown on the left side as new cards. Start the learning process with 'Learn'. (Move the ad to the top as it's too close to the buttons.)
Touch the card to show the other side or use the 'Flip' button.
Swipe to the left to let it scheduled as 'unknown'.
After scheduling both cards as 'unknown', you'll be lead back to the deck view. All unknown answered cards will be rescheduled for several seconds into the future and it's 'time value' reduced.
This time, answer all cards as 'known' using the 'Correct' button. Both cards still are scheduled within a day.
From the deck view, use 'Review' to go through all cards. In the top left you see the 'time value' for the current card. The program thinks that you can keep it for 9 minutes and 34 seconds.
and 8 minutes and 43 seconds.
during the review, you can delete or edit the current card.
go to the card list again and add a second tag 'Chapter A'
mark a card using the star icon and longpress on the second tag.
and longpress on the second tag to open the context menu.
Choose 'Move marked cards here' to reorder cards in other tags. If you don't see cards, maybe it's because the tag is closed, tap on it to open it. Here we need a different icon to differentiate the close/open state. You can move cards to other decks as well.
From the deck view use Menu | Preferences, in the prefereces view you can change the algorithm used for the current deck.
CSV files can be imported, it's the fastest way to get cards.
You might prefer other colors than black text on a white background. From the deck list use Menu | Preferences to get this.
Choose a color combination that suits you.
You might want to use your deck as a dictionary. From the deck view push the search button.
